Will Work for Pennies ( no really )
My buddy Eddy Solomon over at Work at Home No Scams wrote an article a couple weeks ago that caught my attention. Actually, it really wasn’t the article itself, but rather a single sentence that stood out for me and has stuck in my head.
“How would I go about doubling or tripling the effort that earned me the few cents?”…
This wasn’t pertaining to any particular program, but rather was a look at his early days of playing around with different opportunities, and learning how to take a few cents and consistently build on those meager earnings and turn ‘em into something far more substantial.
Sure, we can all join a Paid to Click program, click a few ads, make a few cents, and then repeat the process with another Paid to Click program. Eventually earning enough to cash out. Congrats we just made a couple dollars… yay for us.
Personally, I’ve never been happy with just a couple bucks. Using the money I earn and putting it back towards advertising, upgrades, and subscriptions ( and the occasional six pack ) has always been my focus. Although, my focus is often clouded by the multitude of programs and services that I could, should and do use to build my business ( $$$ ). Unfortunately time has been a factor for me as of late, so I’ve made some tough decisions that should not only increase my weekly and daily earnings consistently but also provide for more opportunities for growth in the future. Plus allowing me more time to work on my other project, take care of family and real life, and even find an extra day or two to get to the gym.
Here’s the thing. I’ve been at this for a long time, so I’ve built some downlines, got my name and face out there and learned a few tricks. I have commissions coming in from a lot of different programs, even when I’m not doing anything. Like I said above, I try to put most of what I earn back in and try to get my earnings to grow on a daily basis. To be truthful, I’m not even close to where I thought I’d be. I’m probably making more than most of you reading this, but my vision was far greater than $10, $15, or $20 a day. Of course I’m still building on that but thinking again about the sentence Eddy wrote.
“How would I go about doubling or tripling the effort that earned me the few cents?”…
The answer was pretty obvious.
I needed to refocus my time and earnings. Basically I needed to get back to spending less time working online and redirecting the commissions I was already making and turning them over as quickly as I could, and then repeating the process. Both increasing my daily earnings, whether it is an additional twenty cents or one dollar a day.
So the first thing I did was free up both money and time, by dropping $100 a month in subscription fees. All from Traffic Exchange subscriptions. I know this might come as a shock for some of you, and don’t give me any shit about viral marketing or building my list. This is not the post to discuss the hows, whats, and whys of Traffic Exchanges, Safelists and Downline Builders. These are all resources I love and will continue to use, just not in the time sucking way I have been using them this last year.
Moving on.
So what I did the last couple weeks was concentrate on putting in about an hour a day max clicking my ads on eight Paid To Click / Read. This was the time saver I needed. Then moving my commissions quickly into an ad on ClixSense for NeoBux. Since I had freed up $100 I was able to get a few ads up throughout the last couple weeks and increase my daily earnings on NeoBux ( without renting or managing referrals )…
Now I’m not really focusing on “how many” referrals I bring in. What I’m doing is making sure I’m seeing a consistent ( word of the day ) increase in earnings. Since I can’t control the actions or intentions of my referrals ( Hey!, Where’s my $168,840.00? ), it would be silly of me to just be satisfied with bringing in twenty referrals and then hoping they all remain active. No, I’m moving money as fast I can earn it and keeping things moving and flowing in the right direction, not just on NeoBux, but on several programs. Concentrating on Paid to Click programs first ( yes, I am clicking those quarter cent ads ).
Okay, I think that’s it for me today. I had a few more things to talk about and share, but I think I’ll keep you guys hanging until the next post.

In the next post we’ll discuss how to maximize our time and I’ll throw some more results and examples at you.

I hear what you are saying. I have come to some conclusions lately and am redirecting my energy to other things. We’ll see. . . :) I am clearing out the clutter of stuff I have been dealing with for the past year with no monetary rewards or not worth the time. I do believe that a year is long enough. (probably too long) I am reevaluating and deleting accounts that should have been deleted a long time ago. WOW! I feel as though I can breathe better. LOL
Wow,
That was a great post Phil, not so much because you mentioned a brother (thanks for the shout out!) but more so because of the decisions you have made and actions you have taken. I definitely think it’s going to pay off in the long run. After all I’m living proof that it does. So applaud you man! Great post!
Hy Phil,
What you doing with EB/MIB??
New things happening real soon…Do not miss out!
Kind Regards, Catherine.
Great Post Phil. Just so you know I actually do read them.
@Troy Renfrow
Thanks Troy… We are long over due for a lunch date and I’ve been dying for Sushi
@Donna
Thanks for the comment Donna. Yeah, honestly there are a lot of tools and resources out there but at some point it just becomes un-managable. Most of the time it has nothing to with the programs we’ve joined, but rather a matter of time, money, and effort. Working smarter, not harder right?
Now I swear I wrote a focus oriented post a few months ago… hmmmm
Thanks again
@Catherine
Hey Cat,
Currently doing nothing with “MIB”. Probably won’t do anything with it until I write something. There’s a couple things I don’t like about MIB, but a lot of what I do like. Would like to see PTC Advantage changed a bit and I have my issues with the suggested marketing aspect of it. More on that another time. I think the downline building part of it is pretty powerful, I’d just like a couple changes.
but most importantly, what are YOU doing with it?
thanks for the comment Cat
@Eddy Salomon
Thanks for digging this post Eddy and thanks for being my mentor.
I’ll work on getting more traffic coming your way, it’s always a pleasure.
I found this blog on clixsense. I think this is the first clixsense ad I actually stuck around longer than 30 seconds to absorb. Great info here!
@bestmommy
Hey thanks for taking a bit more than thirty seconds out of your clicking to read my ramblings.
Love the glasses by the way.
