I’ve left the “register” feature open on this blog for awhile now. Even though it really is worthless and provides no additional benefits to your experience here. I just thought it would be useful to have another list of people to remind when I post something new.

Lately though I’ve been a bit concerned by the number of people who register an account here. I never see comments, I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen an email from any of the “registered members”, and honestly I’m a bit concerned. Mostly when I see multiple registries like this:

unfinlese ivan.o.vi.va.n.i.va.n.i.vi.c.h@gmail.com

and

weweteomypony iva.nov.iv.aniv.a.n.i.v.i.c.h@gmail.com

Since “gmail” doesn’t recognize period’s ( so I’ve read ) in your chosen user name, I can’t see why anyone would want to create multiple accounts and rearrange the email address. To me it just seems shady and I have a feeling that something a bit more malicious is going on.

I don’t want to spend the time trying to figure it out. I think the best thing I could do is just turn off the “register” feature on this blog for good.

Registered users who created an account in good faith can use the “Subscribe” field above or subscribe HERE.

So as of now, I’m officially getting rid of that option and encourage anyone who actually wants to know when I have something new written to simply subscribe. I promise to never spam you, ask for your sisters phone number or send you “The best Deals on Viagra”.

Thanks for understanding and / or almost caring.

Phil ( philsfault ) Ames

Oh wait, have I mentioned how easy it is to simply Subscribe to You Will Not Get Rich From This Blog by Email

    Hi Phil,

I visit and read your blog. I have just so much offline stuff going on that I haven’t been posting lately or doing much of anything online lately. (I’ll be back soon. lol)

    Take care,
    Donna :)

    Catherine…

Also nice to hear from you. Sorry I haven’t been to chatty lately, I’ve been a bit buried in life and emails. Both are good things.

    Troy..

Hope you had a kick ass birthday on Sunday. We are long overdue for a lunch date. Yeah, things are rolling nicely here at “You will Not get Rich from this Blog”. Turning the register feature off was good because it’s one less thing to think about. Plus it was nice to see a few of those previously registered subscribing.

    Bonnie..

Oh Bonnie, comments not necessary, we talk occasionally on SX ( although, I’ve haven’t been to vocal lately, I’m always around. Thanks so much for reading.

    Donna..

Thanks as usual Donna. Yeah offline stuff is insane here as well, my only time to really work is late at night when everyones asleep.

That’s fine Phil, I understand why you would have to take extra steps. There are so many that just won’t behave themselves. But I do come back and check to see if you have something new. Blessing and have a great day.

What if I do need a good deal on Viagra, want to pimp out my sister and love the taste of a good spam mail? Seriously though, sorry you have to deal with all those internet punks who are hellbent on making everyone online’s life more difficult as if life in the tangible world isn’t filled with enough trouble.

    Shalom,

    @thebananarepublican

I have a little thingy about “Not” promoting things I don’t personally use.. so yeah, no Viagra ads from me ( even if I found the best deal ).

Now what does your sister look like? =P
