PTC Box has finally launched!!
First.. I’d like to thank everyone for all the wonderful comments from my previous post. Opening up and being an honest type of guy was my intention when I started this blog; even if it meant sharing embarrassing details about my life. Then again, most of us have a less than perfect life, so Hey, when you start your own blog, don’t be afraid to be a real person. Your readers will connect better with you.
Anyways… Moving and Moving “In” to the new house was my focus last month so I really didn’t find the time to reply to any of the comments. Which really is pathetic since I found the time to re-discover “Hulu” and watch old UFC fights for an hour or so before bed every night this month. Since I’ve lost my office I’ve rediscovered my big super comfy recliner and have been melting in it with my lap top every night. A great way to end the night but not very productive.
Back to the topic of today’s post.
PTC Box has finally launched!!
For those of you not in the know. The long respected MatrixMails has promised us a new site for over a year now. MatrixMails is one of the few PTC sites that have stood the test of time and thrived since 2002. I don’t join most of the new PTC sites these days, but MatrixMails was one of my first many years ago. Although they have had problems with paypal and now only pay through AlertPay, I’ve never had an issue and still consider MatrixMails one of my favorites.
PTC Box. First off, I love the name. When I first saw it a couple days ago I had to do a double take. I’m so used to “Bux” sites being all the rage that I almost slapped my self in the head in disbelief…”Did they really just create another “Bux” site?” Nope. Not that I’m against Bux sites ( although I don’t join 99% of them ), I just wanted to be refreshed with a new idea.
PTC Box has a few new ideas. Including the “Chat with your Referral when they are online” feature.
Another feature that I like is the custom upgrade option. I think it’s very important to upgrade in a program that your serious about and plan to promote. Most importantly though I think it’s even more important to not be pressured into spending money beyond your budget in hopes of making more money. Don’t be pressured into would of, could of’s, should of’s. Stick with what you can afford and move in a positive direction.
Of course being a Free member is fine as well and with the minimum $2 cash out it’s nice to see that everyone has a realistic chance of seeing some extra dough in the not so distant future.
So what is my upgrade level going to be? Honestly, I really didn’t plan for any new upgrades this month. Although I have been anticipating the launch of PTC Box, for some time now, I think I’m going to customize my upgrade with less personal click earnings and focus more on getting another level of downline earning. Haven’t quite decided but my budget is going to be in the $30 to $40 dollar range. For a year that’s pretty darn reasonable. Most importantly, the money I’m spending is money I’m already making online and what I can comfortably afford to lose. Sure I’ll probably lose out on some potential earnings by not upgrading higher, but it’s what I can afford this month and my earnings will increase without overextending my budget.
Once again, PTC Box as with all programs I talk about here, are Free to Join, Earn and Cash Out. Oh and yes, you do have the option of paypal for your cash outs.
So first impressions are pretty good. A much anticipated site with a few twists should make for a fun new program.
Of course I’ll expect some growing pains as PTC Box evolves in the next couple months; but that’s normal when a new site launches.
In the meantime. It’s cold outside and I’m not happy about it! At all!! So with that said my signature will remain

Hey Phil thanks for the info! I joined ClixSense through your link a week or so ago, and need some help learning how to get direct referrals, advertise, etc. Was hoping I could get some advice from a professional? Even if you could just lead me to other resources where i could learn would be great. Thx.
Hey Joseph
Thanks for the comment. Although your question about getting direct referrals is a loaded one. Getting referrals for your programs is all about getting your links out there. Whether it’s direct advertising on other paid to clicks or building your subscriber list for your blog or autoresponder. The bottom line is “if no one see’s your referral links in any form, then your not going to get any direct referrals”.
Personally, I spent way too much money years ago on advertising. Sure I picked up tons of referrals but what I made and am making does not match what I spent. So always spend within your budget but still get your links out there.
The last year or so I’ve been mainly focused on promoting my blog. I build my subscriber list and as long as I keep writing new content ( not necessarily promoting the next big thing ) my subscribers keep reading and choose whether to continue reading, or join what I’m promoting.
Although I encourage writing a blog and building a list of subscribers. One of my favorite places to advertise for referrals is ClixSense. I just encourage you to earn the money you make online for advertising. Or at least set a comfortable budget that you can afford to lose. Work slowly and learn as you go.
Also don’t forget about banner advertising. It works well for the patient and persistent.
Once again, loaded question and I could go on and on. Bottom line is to get your ref links out there and see who bites.
Thanks again for the comment and take care.
Phil
Hi Phil,
Been tracking your blog for a while now, so I thought I’d join PTC Box under you. I like what I see so far!
Stacey
Thanks Stacey!!
Hi Phil, I’m interested to know how did you manage to get people subscribing to your blog. As you can see, I have a free money blog since March this year, and am struggling to get subscribers for it.
What do you think of my blog?
Could you give me advices how and where to promote it?
Do I need to tweak the blog since it loaded heavily (lots of banners and javascripts??)
Which section of my blog sidebar I need to get rid off?
Sorry for asking too many questions.
Gonna subscribe to your future blog updates.
Thanks for your time.

Hi Mursalin,
First off, sorry about the late reply.
I noticed that you added a blog subscribe form via “feedburner”. Glad you figured that part out. I started with feedburner myself and it’s easy to use and Free! Although, I ran into problems a couple years into using it and received zero customer support. Since it’s owned by google, this can be expected unless your a heavy hitter. I eventually switched to Aweber; which is not free, but the customer service is exceptional. Aweber takes some learning but well worth it. In the meantime… Feed Burner is very effective!
I like the fact that you show payment proofs on your blog. I dislike the over use of banners and graphics. This is something I was guilty of when I first started. Eventually you’ll want to be more personal in your writings. Your subscribers will keep reading your ramblings when they can connect with you. They don’t always have to agree with you, but at least they know your a real person.
As far as promoting your blog. As long as you don’t have adsense on it, the skies the limit. Just think of the very ads you click on every day and your target audience. Eventually create a splash page promoting your blog, or as the experts agree; a squeeze page encouraging subscriptions. I need to update my squeeze page, but with Aweber when someone subscribes they are then taken to my blog ( or any page I choose ). Once again, a bit of learning is involved. Stick with Aweber for now since it’s free and it works.
Keep it up, your doing fine.

Hi Phil,
Have been considering joining this site and am wondering what your thoughts are on it not that you have been using it for awhile. If you don’t mind me asking how much have you earned so far and with how many referrals.
Regards
Adam
@Australian Surveys
Hey Adam,
Always nice to hear from you.
I like PTC Box. I didn’t jump on it right away and start promoting because I promised someone I’d join under them. He took a couple days to send me the link so I missed out on promoting early. Anyways, I’ve made $19.00 and have 31 first level and 41 second level.
The site runs very smooth and I love the custom upgrade option! You know me, I don’t join much but this one was anticipated and after the first month I’m very happy with it. Especially the $2.00 paypal cashouts; payouts are not instant but always in my account within a few hours.
Good to hear from you. I’ve been reading your bike riding adventures on facebook.

HaHa you have been hearing the tales of pain and anguish then lol.
Going well Phil, this post is #11 on google for the search term “PTCBox” only 10 more spots to go, goodluck with that :)
@PTCBox
Hey PTCBox. I see you also found this website! :)
By the way Phil, to let you know that I just got paid $292.36 yesterday! That shows that it does help to have a downline. Thus may yours continue to grow!
