Pppptttt ( me sticking my tongue out ). I guess it’s just not my day.

I decided to run one of my little ad campaign’s for Traffic Splash. This usually involves six ad venues and 17,000 hits ( clicks, views..whatever ) for whichever program I’m trying to muster up some referrals or commissions for, and a cost of approximately $300, ( don’t worry honey, I had a good earnings week ).

I’ve only placed ads on four of the six sites I planned to advertise on. So my ad budget is only down $131. Still got another $169 to go. I Still need to write an award winning HTML ad for Rent a List ( Hits4Pay / DealsnCash ). It’s the most expensive place I advertise, but the results are usually amazing.

…but so far the numbers are pretty dismal to say the least. $131 spent and a whopping SIX STANDARD REFERRALS!!! on my Traffic Splash team. “That’s sad Phil”.

So here’s the breakdown and the next plan of attack.

Once again, I’m trying to pick up referrals for Traffic Splash ( Great Traffic Exchange, you should all join, and upgrade ).

Matrix Mails – Purchased 40 coins @ .50 cents a coin, for $20. I decided to use half of my ad credits ( coins ) and place a Paid to Click ad. As I type this I still have 450 credits ( clicks ) to go. Results ZERO POINT ZERO ZERO referrals. Tomorrow, I’m going to use the rest of my credits on a Paid to Read ( PTR ) ad. I usually get good results with those on Matrix, because, well lets face it… I’m a pretty witty ad writer…. move on phil, no one cares

NeoBux – Well since PPClix is having PayPal issues I decided to take advantage of my rarely used AlertPay account and cash out $34. This was the right amount to buy 2000 ad views.

BREAK IN THE ACTION! Did I mention that most of my advertising is done on websites / programs / ( places things stuff.. ya know ) that allow Demographic Targeting? I usually target the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia. No disrespect to other countries, this is just what I do.

oh yeah.. my NeoBux ad. So out of 2000 ( targeted ) money hungry opportunity seekers, I picked up 4 referrals! . My best results of the day .. whoop whoop. Actually pretty sad. A 1% return would have at least picked up 20 referrals, and since NeoBux has a crap load of members that make a few hundred $$ a month I thought I’d do quite well. hmmm perhaps I should rethink my Demographic Strategy.

ClixSense – Now this has become my favorite program as of late, for making money and advertising. I think my upline guy ( danny ) is going to enjoy the added commissions from me.. Anyways. I purchased 2000 ad views for $24 and picked up a mindblowing two standard referrals…. I still have 254 ad views to go, but things don’t look good.

WordLinx – Spent $53 on 3000 ad views and so far 1001 WL members have viewed my link. My results, so far… take a guess. Yup, ZIP. Lets hope the next 2000 members that view my ad, realize what a great program T.Splash is. Probably not…but wouldn’t it be nice to have 2000 upgrades tomorrow ( $25 x’s 2000 :) )? DREAM! Hell!, I’d settle for two.

So that’s where I am today. Still have a bit of advertising left to go. Lets hope tomorrow is a better day.

Okay, it’s Tomorrow!!! Today, Feb 4th.

So between hanging with my kids, doing a few chores, bringing my son to school and running a few million errands, I managed to put together a pretty good ad for Rent a List. I’m still learning my HTML so I stick with the basics.

They were having one of there “Specials”, and I only spent $135 for 3000 visitors. Actually, I only get 1500 guaranteed ad views. I’m not sure why they have to say your buying 3000 ad views. Still, although it’s expensive to advertise on Rent a List ( for us light weights ), I’ve gotten some pretty decent results. I’ll have to write a “Advertising on Rent a List ” blog post in the future….

anyways… Luckily Rent a List’s staff was on top of things today and we played “Edit my ad” tag three times before I was finally happy with the results. So now I just have to wait until my masterpiece posts tomorrow.

Oh, I’m often guilty of allowing my ad to be seen by everyone ( w/ my usual demographics of course ). This time I only selected “Affiliates” as my target interest. Lets see how I do tomorrow.

Tonight! I still need to get an ad up on AdPaid and use the rest of my ad credits on MatrixMails. I still have $34 left in my ad campaign budget, so I’m sure I’ll try someplace new as well.
