Tragedy in Haiti

January 14th, 2010

By now everyone has heard about the devastation in Haiti. Tragedy is nothing new in this world and every year, lives are lost, destroyed and for a short period of time, for those not directly impacted, we are riveted to CNN for the latest news.

Although we are heartbroken by the suffering of others, our lives normally continue as usual, unless we have some connection to those affected or are affected ourselfs.

Today our good friend, Scam Fighter and Haitian American, Eddy Salomon reminded us that tragedy can and will impact our lives at some point. Either directly or through family and friends living elsewhere in the world.

Eddy’s latest post “Help Haiti”

My thoughts go out to all those affected by the earthquake in Haiti. Especially Eddy’s family and friends in Port Au Prince.

    Phil,

Thanks for helping your Haitian brother out by posting this on your blog. I know you didn’t need to do this but you did and I really appreciate it. I pray that your subscribers heed your word and help in any way they can.

    Thanks again Phil!
