Easter Update.

April 4th, 2010

I wanted to wish everyone a very happy and relaxing Easter. For those who don’t have children, you might just consider it another spring day.

Me, I have a four year old daughter and seven year old son. Although the thrill of searching for Easter eggs has lost it’s magic for me, my kids still enjoy the tradition and to them it’s just as exciting as Christmas. I’m still on the fence about the whole Easter Bunny myth and my latest attempt at trapping him has once again failed miserably ( next year buddy, I promise ).

Anyways….today I wanted to have a video up showing how to maximize our “paid to click” time by opening three or four windows at once and clicking away for twenty minutes. Actually the video was only going to be three minutes, but you get the idea. However, something is updating on my ‘puter and slowing things down every couple minutes, so you watching a video of me saying “.. as soon as it loads”, “crap”, and “la la la hmmm” would have been painful to both make as well as watch. So I’ll figure out what the hell is slowing my computer down and get a new video or two up between now and, oh, I don’t know, next Easter.

So I’m going to keep this post short today, Happy Easter, Have a safe Spring Break, blah blah blah.

Oh wait, now I remember why else I wanted to write today. I saw another ad this morning for a paid to read program offering $20 per email read. I forget the name of the site, but I believe the cash out was like $10,000 or something like that. Another ad that comes up every so often is one where I guy is opening a FedEx box stuffed full of money. Seriously!! As far as the getting paid $20 per email program, don’t bother. I can pretty much promise you that you’ll never get paid regardless of making payout. The FedEx box stuffed full of cash thingy… no thanks. I know nothing about “cash gifting” programs, but I’m pretty damn sure I’ll catch the Easter Bunny before I’ll ever think about mailing someone $600 in a box… I’m just saying. Am I alone on this?

Paid to Click / Read programs like “MatrixMails”, “AdPaid”, ClixSense and “donkeymails” have been thriving for many years and for good reason. So try to focus ( there’s that word again ) on what I was talking about in “my last post”, Consistently building your earnings daily, weekly and monthly. Concentrate mostly on the programs that have been around for years, and do your research before joining any program that seems to good to be true.

Until next time,

Oh, one last thing. I decided to keep my “GDI” account. I really haven’t done anything in regards to promoting it this year and I really have no plans at the moment for any major ad campaigns. I just can’t find any good reason to cancel my account. I mean “GDI” has been around for what? Ten plus years? I’ve been paid a few times so it really couldn’t hurt to keep a referral link in a couple convenient locations. I’ll keep you posted ( eventually ).

Another NeoBux Update ( I know I know, Again! )

February 24th, 2010

I swear I have way more to talk about and share than just ClixSense and NeoBux, but they have both been hot topics the last couple weeks. So Yeah, this wasn’t the post I intended to write but, here ya go..

So it’s at the point in the night where I know I’m not going to be very productive. After spending a couple hours replying to emails, comments and reading other bloggers ramblings ( BoneHead ), I’m tired, but feeling the need to quickly put something together before bed.

Whenever I write a post about NeoBux, whether it’s the main topic or just a casual mention, the majority of the emails or comments I receive basically express the same thoughts.

NeoBux is Great but I need a strategy for renting referrals.”

“It’s impossible to pick up referrals because everyone and their dog is advertising it.”

My reply to the rental thang is always; “Try not to use much of your own money when playing with rentals” and “Use your earnings to manage you rentals instead.” Honestly, I can’t endorse any strategy other than that, so… um, yeah. Good luck.

As far as picking up new direct referrals for NeoBux, or any popular program for that matter. Remember that everyday, thousands of people like you and I hit the internet looking for ways to supplement their income, and make money. I’m only assuming. So although a lot of the usual crowd and veterans have probably already joined ( whats hot ), theirs always a “Hot” group of new folks ready to join your NeoBux downline, or whatever your promoting. Getting frustrated and feeling like we’re wasting your time is natural. So don’t feel like your alone. Try new things and learn from others ( wink wink ). Or just give up and find a new hobby. I’ve heard Solitaire is a great way to pass the time.

Anyways, I always have that itch to spend money on advertising but I’ve learned to control what I spend, and use mostly (mostly) my earnings from other programs. Like on Sunday when I spent $24 on an ad promoting NeoBux on ClixSense. I re-ran my previous ad that I talked about in the last post, and just to illustrate my point that I mentioned above, I managed to wrangle up 26 new referrals.

Now I usually don’t advertise on Sundays. It’s not a religious thing, it’s just that a lot of times my ads won’t actually post until Monday. I hate that because then I’m then lumped in with everyone else’s ads and I feel like I don’t have the full attention of the clicker ( potential new referral ). ClixSense has been approving ads more frequently and several times a day on Sunday. So I went with advertising on Sunday and it payed off. Yay Me!!

Going to bed now, not even going to check stats.

Night all

Moving forward into the New Year

January 4th, 2010

Well the Christmas decorations are boxed up for another year. The tree has been dismantled and was carted away this morning. Now all that needs to be done is moving sixteen large containers of holiday cheer up to the attic. Then I can officially call an end to the holiday season ( even though it’s officially over ).

So what I want to do in this post ( while waiting for me to officially end the holiday season ), is talk a bit about the programs, resources and tools I’ll be moving forward with and focusing on in 2010.

This past year has no doubt been a pain in the ass for a lot of us, both in real life and online. We’ve seen our share of programs and opportunities come and go. Many scammers took advantage of the weak and desperate, and there were a few programs that opened with the best intentions but couldn’t survive.

So what will I be focusing on this year? Well first and foremost I won’t be joining many new programs. There are a couple that I’m interested in because I know the program owners and I’ve been dying to add them to my portfolio ( err bookmarks ), but other than those few, I’m pretty happy with my current favorites.

Traffic Wave of course. Brian Rooney provides an amazing affiliate program and Auto-Responder service. If you haven’t been paying attention these last couple months, most of the big dogs have switched from Aweber to TW for their auto-responder needs.

My Instant Biz… Speaking of Traffic Wave. TW is MIB’s main program. Or at least that’s what it started off as. Margarete has grown MIB this year and created “TOAN Advantage”, “PTC Advantage” and “Escalating Biz”. They all support each other and really provides for one hell of a downline builder. Although, I would change a few things, My Instant Biz is definitely worth adding to your online earnings arsenal. I love most the promotional tools ( most ) and of course the no hype atmosphere.

Since we are talking down line builders ( sort of ). I’m absolutely in love with Affiliate Funnel. Every worthwhile resource, the best programs, an opportunity to have up to six of you favorite earners on one easy to promote page ( **hint** promote your “Your Programs” Page on PTC’s ), and of course the support and guidance that the forum provides, as well as Affiliate Funnel itself. Affiliate Funnel really puts everything in one awesome package and allows you to promote yourself as well ( we’ll talk branding later =P ).

To be honest, The three programs above pretty much cover everything for me. Traffic Wave is not only a stand alone Auto-Responder ( for your Newsletter or what not ) but also has one the best affiliate programs around. Brian’s been paying for ten years now. Affiliate Funnel has all my favorites wrapped up in one convenient, and brightly lit package ( even a spot for TW ), and My Instant Biz of course focuses on Traffic Wave ( are you getting the hint yet? ) as well as “The Online Ad Network”, and many many others.

Oh, and by the way. I actually have two Traffic Wave accounts. One for Traffic Wave itself. Just because I have an amazing up line ( horay for spillover ), and one for My Instant Biz.

That’s it for me today. Within the next couple days I’ll officially put an end to 2009 and give you my top PTC picks for 2010 and beyond. I think some of you might be surprised.
