Creating a monthly ad budget with Treasure Trooper

May 13th, 2010

So as we move into Summer I wanted to really get you guys ( and gals ) moving in the right direction with your online earnings. I’m going to stay realistic here and I do apologize for not making you rich today. Most of you who follow me know my blog subtitle by now… “…when I’m rich I’ll let you know”

“This is Not a Race”. Being desperate and using credit cards is not a good mix. Spending Money you can not comfortably afford to lose is NEVER a good idea. Of course, our online earnings adventure moves along a whole hell of a lot faster when we have money for things like advertising, upgrades, and subscriptions to our favorite programs.

So lets build a bit of seed money ( working capital ).

I want to use the well established Treasure Trooper in this example. Yes, this is an example. There are tons of fantastic programs out today, but it’s important if your new, to stick with “Established” programs at first.

Treasure Trooper hit the scene in 2005 as the “Get Paid To / Incentivized” craze began really taking off. Since then, they have never missed a payment ( at least for me ) and have added several different opportunities for making money over the years. Throw in a very active and energetic forum and your good to go.

Lets start with a realistic half hour a day. This should be enough to produce a nice $40 – $50 a month PayPal payment. You can do more, you can do less. It’s entirely up to you.

NOW!!! I really don’t want you to complete the FREE Offers unless you actually are interested in the respected offer. This includes “FREE Games”. Completing these offers will open you up to spam ( which you opt to receive ) and all sorts of adware and possibly spyware. This will discourage a lot of you and you’ll quit before you get started.

Instead here is what I suggest, and what I personally do.

Daily Surveys … There are actually three survey opportunities available every day. The first is a seventy five cent survey. I’ve done quite a few of these and I can honestly tell you that I’ve never spent more that thirty minutes per survey. So that’s a quick seventy five cents earned. It takes a couple days for your survey earnings to appear in your account balance, so don’t freak out when your not compensated immediately. Oh and if you don’t qualify for a particular survey you can keep trying until you do qualify.

Cash Clicks …. As of today there have been over twenty clicks to view a day. At five cents a pop, that’s $1.00 + a day. You can not cash out on “Cash Clicks” alone, so knocking out a few short surveys a week is a good option for making payout every month.

Update!!!…..Cash Clicks are offline at the moment. Treasure Trooper admin posted the announcement that they should have them available again soon

Offers ( that you are actually interested in )… Seriously! Stick with one or two offers a month at the most. Choose places and things and stuff that you seriously want, need or like I said above “…are interested in”.

The Referral Program… Of course today’s post is titled “Creating a monthly ad budget with Treasure Trooper“. So reserve some of that not so hard earned “working capital” to pick up a few referrals for Treasure Trooper as well. You’ll get paid 20% first level and 5% second level referral earnings. Sorry, but we don’t get paid for our referrals “Cash Clicks” and “Surveys”.

So as you can see, it really isn’t that difficult to create a nice chunk of advertising money every month. This is just one example. We’ll talk about “converting earnings” and the such in future posts. **Hint** check out the additional established programs below.

The important part is that your using some or most of your earnings to create more earnings month after month by building down lines.

Hopefully your focusing on building down lines in not only Treasure Trooper but also other well established programs like ClixSense, LinkGrand, “MatrixMails”, WordLinx to name a few.

Wow, it’s 2 AM. Guess I should go to sleep so I can wake up in four hours.

Help me win a Swag Tee Shirt. Yes! I finally joined SwagBucks and I really want the official SwagBucks Tee Shirt. Actually I really want a lot of things, but the shirt is my first goal. Thanks Eddy for the great program, I’ve made it my homepage.

Treasure Trooper’s New Feature ( sorta new )

February 28th, 2010

I’ve been a member of Treasure Trooper from probable the beginning. What was it, five years ago? I did a lot of promoting back then and built a hefty downline in a short amount of time and really haven’t done much with it since. Don’t get me wrong, it’s one of my favorite incentive based programs ( along side Cash Crate ), but I’m not one to complete offers just to fill my inbox with spam and my paypal account with monthly paychecks ( read my post Using Incentivized Programs Responsibly ). I keep the occasional referral link floating around and of course on this blog. If there is somewhere I want to shop or something I want to join, then usually I’ll take a look at what I can get paid for.

A bit over a month ago, Treasure Trooper introduced “Cash Clicks” to the equation. View an ad with no timer, earn five cents each. When they started this I was extremely skeptical. Not that they were going to not pay up, but rather I was concerned with the high value of each ad and the fact that there were around three dollars worth a day. Just seemed like they were being a bit too generous to me. One Cent would have made more sense, while still being generous.

Well, as the days passed the “Cash Clicks” were unavailable from time to time ( met their quota ), and then I’d only get a couple a day. Now, they seemed to have met a happy medium and throw a consistent seven or eight at us a day ( another 35 to 40 cents ). I still think they should lower the value to around one or two cents but, if it’s working for them, then cool, I’ll enjoy the extra money.

Since they were smart about it and made it so you couldn’t just cash out from “Clicks” alone, I’ve noticed a bit of a jump in my referral earnings as well as my second level. Very happy about that. It’s going to be nice to get back to that monthly check from a down line I built over five years ago.

Using Incentivized Programs Responsibly

January 31st, 2009

To offer incentives or an incentive to; motivate:

So I just did a quick count and apparently there are 805,643 websites that will pay you an incentive ( $$ ) to join programs, sign up for offers, complete tasks, shop and take surveys. Okay, so I didn’t really count websites. I just wanted to give you an idea of how many Incentivized Programs are out there.

I use two. CashCrate and Treasure Trooper.

I’ve seen quite a few posts in forums about how such and such site sends out SPAM email, sells the members phone numbers and personal information, and then labeling “such and such” website a Scam. Look, this is what is most likely happening… and I’ll use Cash Crate as an example.

You join Cash Crate thinking $$. You see that there are a billion offers that will pay you .50 – $3.00 for simply “Filling out the form with Valid Information” or “Participating in the Survey”. You say to yourself, “Sweet, I can knock out about ten of these a day and make a couple hundred dollars a month”. Your right. You can, but realize that every time you submit your personal information just so you can earn yourself fifty cents, you just enrolled your self in the “Please Spam Me Club”. Of course you were too busy counting your money to read the Privacy Agreement or the Terms of Use thingy, that ALL THESE WEBSITES PROVIDE. See, your not getting spammed by Treasure Trooper or Cash Crate or whichever program you are a member of. You’re doing it to yourself… Any questions?

Now here’s what you do..

1 – Keep completing those “free” offers and accept the fact that you’re going to get a crap load of “You’ve just won an IPOD Extreme!!” type emails in your inbox. (“Miley Likes it Big”, that’s my favorite. )

2 – Pick up your referrals people!! Let someone else get the spam instead. You just sit back and collect your commissions ( F’ Yeah .05 more cents!! ). Most Incentivized programs pay you for bringing in new members. Cool, now the only email your going to see is a monthly newsletter and a message saying “You’ve been Paid”.

3 – Use Incentivized Sites Responsibly!! … Sign up for offers you actually want to participate in or join. You probably won’t make $300 a month with this strategy, but if nothing else you’ll stick with the program longer. You’ll use Treasure Trooper or Cash Crate ( or whoever ) around Christmas time when you looking for new places to shop online. You’ll be sitting around watching TV one night, and see an ad for something… you’ll think to yourself “I really want that nose hair trimmer, I wonder if Cash Crate has it available as an offer”? Or to be more realistic. Lets say you want Direct TV. Well the last I checked you can use Cash Crate and earn $55. How ’bout Netflix ( which I highly recommend ), Treasure Trooper pays you $17 to join through them. Okay, one more. When I decided I wanted a Discover Card, I looked at Treasure Trooper offers and “BAM!”, there it was. I made $35 and got a great card ( oh, current incentive is now at $40 ). Of course all incentives and offers mentioned in this post will no doubt change. The examples given were current and accurate as of 1/31/09

Okay, Look. I have over 1500 referrals in Treasure Trooper. I would rather have all of them complete one or two offers a year for things that they really want. Instead, 90% of my refs ( and I’m only assuming here ) have completed a couple free offers, made a couple bucks, didn’t like all the SPAM they were suddenly receiving. Then labeled the site a SCAM or Untrustworthy… and gave up. Not only are they cheating themselves out of money, but what about me? ( me me me ). When my referrals make money, I make money, when I make money, I advertise so that others can make money, and if others make money, then, well… I make more money ( run on sentence allowed for dramatic effect ).

Have fun kids, and please use “ALL” sites responsibly. Incentivized Programs are a great source of extra income and when your not to busy completing all those free offers, be sure to spend some of that hard earned money on advertising for referrals.

Phil
