Hey Everyone and HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!

So this is actually kinda funny and will fully explain why I haven’t had a new post up in a few days.

I’ve been wanting to start making “screen capture videos” for awhile now. Not only to enhance this blog ( it needs it ), but also to force me to update and maintain my YouTube Channel. So the great Eddy Salomon from Work at Home No Scams turns me on to this program called JingProject, and I’m pretty excited because, not only is it easy to use, but it’s also FREE!!. Awesome!! I couldn’t wait to get my first video made, posted and share “Jing” with the rest of the world ( you guys ).

So I downloaded Jing, read a bit, learned to use the basics and launched right into making a five minute Affiliate Funnel video. It’s was probably the BEST AF video you’ve ever seen err,..heard, and I nailed it!! Not bad for my first take. Until I started previewing my masterpiece. Um, hey… where the HELLS THE SOUND!! I’m not on mute, whats going on? Well, turns out my ‘puter doesn’t have a built in Microphone ( kinda tells you how UN Techy I am ). Crap… off to my favorite ‘puter store to buy a Mic.

Determined to re-due my awesome Affiliate Funnel video, I lock myself in my office and go to work. Only this time, I’m trying to hard. “Hi Guys, I’m Philsfault. I want to talk about Affliction Finance ***S@#T***”!!. Try again, “Hey Everyone, Philsfault here, this is my first video and I just wanted to… ((( 3 year old daughter opens door “daddy, look at me” bathing suit, with cape and wizard hat)))) ARRRGHHHH !!

and this goes on for an hour. Me doing take after take and putting too much pressure on myself to create my earlier masterpiece. So I give up and go outside to get the BBQ going ( I grill evvverrryday ).

TAKE THREE: Lets just be Spontaneous
So Friday rolls around, I’m way behind in my blogging and I find a free moment to make a new video. This time I decide to just show how I’m using my earnings from WordLinx for free advertising for The Advertising Gold Mine. It’s not the best video, but I have sound so I’m happy. I save the video, and proceed to post in here. It doesn’t work. I research a bit and find out that the FREE version of Jing only allows me to play with “SWF”, shock wave files, and it turns out that it really isn’t all that simple to convert “swf” to other, more user friendly video formats. More time wasted. So screw it!! I went PRO on Jing ( only $14.95 per year ), but still couldn’t get my first video posted here or on YouTube. Actually, I can show my first video, but it’s not as user friendly as I hoped..

Here it is, for those interested wordlinx_video … a bit frantic but it was pretty much just a test as I learned to use Jing. The next 1000 videos should be awesome!!

TAKE FOUR: I’m now YouTube ( and Blog ) Ready
After going JingPro and creating an account with ScreenCast.com ( it’s sorta required ), I am now totally ready to go. Now I can just record a screen capture video, preview it, hit a button and send it to YouTube. PLUS I DON’T HAVE TO DEAL WITH “SWF” issues, now my files are saved as mp4 files.

TAKE FIVE: I’m going to bed, no new videos tonight
Night everyone and Happy 4th of July!! I’ve got a busy busy and FUN day planned so you can bet I won’t be posting anything new until Sunday.
