Hey Guys ( and gals ),
So at first I was a bit upset that Royal Surf dropped their commission rate for referral upgrades from 75% down to 55%. I have a ton of text ads, banner ads and such floating around that emphasizes the fact that Royal Surf pays up to 75% commission!!. So now I’m going to have to hunt down those ads and do some deleting and re writing. Of course if I did a better job of tracking my ads, this wouldn’t be such a big deal. I’ll work on that next. # 65 on my list of things I can’t possibly get to today.
Like I said, “at first I was upset… “. Regardless of the reduction in commissions, 55% is still no small chunk of change. So my upsettedness ( is that even a word? ) didn’t last for more than a couple minutes, and I was quickly back to promoting and surfing.
Oh and, I’m also pretty excited and curious about Tuesdays Royal Surf promotion. Apparently there are going to hundreds, if not thousands of nickles to be found while surfing. I know that a nickle is’nt really a ton of money, but add the bonus credits, joust game ( more bonus credits ) and the now 55% commissions and you still have one hell of a T.E. ( acronym for Traffic Exchange try to keep up.

On that note. Lets talk briefly about the magic of Traffic Exchanges ( T.E.s, sorry ).
One of the biggest complaints I get from people is that they are not seeing the results from their surfing efforts. They surf a couple hours, rack up a few hundred web hits and see no results. Yeah, welcome to the wonderfully frustrating world of advertising. Kinda sucks sometimes doesn’t it?
Here’s a couple tips:
Constant Exposure!! Utilize your text links and banners as well as the hits your getting from surfing. A couple hundred banner, text links and hits to your URL, could be used up in a couple hours, with Zero results. If surfers see “My Website” a couple times they probably won’t pay much attention, but if they constantly see “My Website” several times a day, then they ( I, You ) start getting a bit curious. Put your offer in peoples faces in as many places as possible!!
Pay Attention to the Bonuses!! Most T.E.’s have reward programs that will give you extra banner impressions, text link impressions and even massive amounts of FREE CREDITS for surfing a certain number of pages a day. DON’T FORGET TO CLAIM THESE!! If you surf 50 pages a day on Royal Surf 
make sure you enter to win 1000 credits a week.
If you surf 250 pages in a day on Royal Surf, you not only get the chance to win 1000 free and extra credits for you promotional endeavors, but you also get to claim your FREE 500 banner impressions!!
In a typical 30 day month your looking at 15,000 FREE banner impressions!! Once again Constant Exposure!!
Stand Out from the rest !! If your simply posting the same URL ( Referral Link ) that everyone else is promoting, then your just swimming in a sea of hope. Creating your own Splash Pages and adding your picture lets people know that they are dealing with a real person. Even us un-photogenic losers can find at least one picture we like of ourselves.
